meristematic tissues are present in a tip, where growth of a plant takes place and it is of three types that is apical, lateral and intercalary and when these meristematic tissues get a definite shape and size and when growth is not taking place, at that these meristematic tissues changes into permanent tissues and permanent tissues are of two types that is simple permanent tissues and complex permanent tissues.
