Hey mate,

Metals:

Metals are usually good conductors of heat and electricity. They are hard, opaque, shiny, lustrous and malleable and ductile metals usually from ionic bonds.

Non- metals :

Non - metals are good insulator of heat and electricity. They are usually brittle and have dull appearance. Non- metals usually from covalent compound.
