mononuclear phygocyte is a part of immune system that consists of phygocytic cell located in only one connective tissue while polymorphonuclear phygocyte is located in more than one connective tissue

❣.MONONUCLEAR PHAGOCYTES(MNPs)❣
- The monocytes of the blood enter the extra-capillary spaces and transform into histiocytes in the connective tissue,kupffer cells in the liver ,microglia in the brain,osteocytes in the bone and synovial cells in the synovial fluid.
❣.POLYMORPHONUCLEAR PHAGOCYTES ❣
- They are the 'granulocytes'of the blood including neutrophills,basophills and eosinophills.However ,in common usage this term is mostly used for neutrophills as they constitute the majority.
