The Msbox is a method of compatibilty,it gis some easy way to convert the old code.

It is Okaylish (a sublevel somewhere a bad and okay is form) is us but your better off using messagebox in long too run.

Msgbox have some function of visual basic.

Error provider control:

Error provider provides the information to user that in window something is going to wrong.

For example a warning icon ,wrong icon, when an incorrect expression is entered or a tick icon depending upon the data entered a text box displays so that a user can be understand whatever he entered is incorrect data.

A message box is meant to display the modal dialog box with the system icon, buttons and a short application message such as error information or status. Moreover it returns an integer value that shows teh button clicked by the user. On the other hand, the error provider control is utilized in displaying errors related to entry of dats or show any desired icon as well as accompanying tool tip to respond to any event being monitored.

I hope this helps
