3x-ay=6
point(4,3)
x=4 y=3
3(4)-a(3)=6
12-3a=6
-3a=-6
a=2
so equation is 3x-2y=6
now we have to check point (-2,-6) x=-2 y=-6
3(-2)-2(-6)=6
-6+12=6
6=6
so (-2,-6) lies on the same graph..

Answer:

The value of 'a' is the point (-2,- 6) lies on same plane 3x- ay =6 (4,3)

Step-by-step explanation:

3 (4)-3a=6

12-3a=6

3a=6-12

3a=-6

a=-6/3

a=2

value of a=2

equation = 3(-2)-2 (-6)

-6+12=6

6=6
