Nervous mechanism:-
1. It is performed by nervous system which sent an electrical impulse along axons and as a chemical across synapse and acts through effectors.
2. The information is transmitted instantaneously.
3. the effects are short lived.
Hormonal mechanism:-
1. It is performed by chemical sub. called hormones , secreted by endocrine glands.
2. the information is transmitted slowly not as fast as nervous mechanism.
3. the effects are generally more prolonged.
