The civil disobedience movement was different from the non cooperation movement because now Gandhiji asked people not only to not cooperate with the British government but also to break colonial laws in a peaceful manner.

Non- cooperation movement is the refusal to cooperate with the government of a country Whereas civil disobedience movement refers to the refusal to obey certain laws of a country.

Non-cooperation Movement include resignations and refusal to pay whereas civil disobedience movement includes Byocutting, protest, etc.
