The Ob-Yenisey lowland is at least 120 meters above sea level whereas the Turan lowland can be lower than sea level in some places.
The Ob-Yenisey lowland is drained by the Ob, Yenisey, Pur, Nadym, Irtysh and Taz rivers, along with their tributaries. The Turan lowland, on the other hand, is a low-lying desert basin that extends from southern Turkmenistan to Kazakhstan and covers Uzbekistan.
