difference between parenchyma and scelerchyma

parenchyma

(1) parenchyma cells are present in the epidermis cortex , pith and pericycle management cells are parenchymatous

(2) thin cell wall

(3) intercellular space is present

(4) the cell wall is commonly thin but uniform in thickness.

scelerchyma

(1) sclerenchyma cells are generally dead.

(2) the cells are empty.

(3) wall thickening is uniform.

(4) it is only a mechanical tissue.

(5) Lumen or cell cavity is usually narrom.

Transport of material occur through cells or cell walls of parenchyma cells.
sclerenchyma:-
They are elongated, spindle shaped, thick wall dead cell.
