Dear student.

Periscope is an apparatus consisting of a tube attached to a set of mirrors or prisms, by which an observer (typically in a submerged submarine or behind a high obstacle) can see things that are otherwise out of sight.

A kaleidoscope is a cylinder with several mirrors containing loose, colored objects such as beads or bits of glass. It works on the principle of multiple reflection, where several mirrors are placed at an angle to one another. When a person looks into one end, light entering the other creates a colorful pattern.

Regards.

Periscope is a device consisting of a tube with two bends. In the bends, two plane mirrors are placed. Usage: suppose you are behind a High wall and you want to see beyond it. You use a periscope.

Kaleidoscope is a device which is made up or three plane rectangular mirrors arranged in the shape of a triangle (preferably equilateral). A butter paper is placed at one end and coloured beads, balls are put in. The other end is closed with a transperant sheet. On looking through the transperant sheet, the coloured objects undergo multiple reflections producing amazing patterns.
