Satellites are also heavenly bodies, but much smaller than planets , which they orbit in the same way as planets orbit the sun. Satellites too, reflect light from the sun. Except for Mercury and Venus , all planets have satellites. Earth's satellite is the moon.

A satellite is anything that orbits around a larger object. A  satellite is any celestial body in space that orbits around a larger body. Moons are called natural satellites because they orbit planets. ... There are thousands of artificial satellites orbiting the Earth.
