animal cells:1.they are usually smaller in size

                    3.cell wall is absent
                    4.plastids are absent except in the protozoa euglena
plant cell:1.they are larger in size
                2.plasma membrane of plant cells is surrounded by a thick cell wall
                3.plastids are present
