it is highly uneven on world
it is highly concentrated in the areas which are rich in natural resources
like fertile soil ,climate condition,basin of rivers,
less concentrated in hot desert and cold deserts

people below 14 years are young population
people between 15 to 59 years make up adult population
people above 60 are old age population

1. The spatial arrangement of population according to geographical structure ,political and administrative division is called population distribution .The distribution of population according to caste ,culture, religion etc. is called population composition.

2. Population distribution doesn't depend on population composition, whereas population composition depends on population distribution.
