Difference between poster and flyer design

FLYERS: are advertising things, such as a pound, halloween party, website, the local acadamy, or something like that.

POSTERS: they are normally "posting" something about someone/something. For example, if you take a sheet of paper and put your name, hobbies, faorite colors, etc, that is called a poster.
