+ PROCEDURAL MARKUP :
It takes the form of instructions to a computer program that will then generate presentation and punctuational markup. Language such as TEX and postscripts are often considerd procedural markup language.
+ DESCRIPTIVE MARKUP :
It concerns the logical structure of a document rather than it's appearance . Descriptive markup is designed to be easy for both people and computer to read and understand. User defined style in world processor can be used for descriptive markup
