psychiatrist or neurologist, people need to pursue the same pre-medical or MBBS degree. After that one can chose to specialise in either of them.

Psychiatrists treat patients with mental disorders. Thus they focus on the relationship between mind and behaviour. They can subscribe medicines for patients to help them cope with their mental distress.

Neuroligists treat patients with problems that occur in the brain and the nervous system. Thus, if a person suffers from a fit, paralysis, clotting etc. neurologists are trained to treat those problems.
