Public personnel administration is a management in the public service organization. The study and practice of human resource management in the public sector, The program and management function and assesses the impact of human resource on the broader areas of the public policy and administration. Implementing rules in the public sectors like ensuring equal employment opportunity,information technology, deregulation, quality of work life and decentralization.
Personnel administration on the other hand is popularly known as human resource management and it does not particularly have a defined definition but it is concerned with procurement, development, compensation and maintenance of personnel and inter- relationship in the organization for the purpose of contributing towards the accomplishment of major objectives and the goals of the organization, It deals with recruitment, placements, training, disciplinary measures, cubing nepotism and favoritism, policy implementation and social changes.
