Rainforests are characterized by lots of rain and a dense canopy, usually with very large tries and an incredible varied ecosystem. Savannas, or savannahs, are usually grasslands, drier, and their trees are shorter and more sparse.

Tropical Rainforest

1) Have climate which recieves a lot of rainfall thus it exhibits moist and cool climate.

2) Due to rainfall, they exhibit dense canopy.

3) Present in every continent.

Savannah

1) Recieves very little annual rainfall resulting in dry climate.

2) Usually drier and their trees are short and sparse.

3) Mostly present in African continent.
