FRAGMENTATION is a process where mature organism like SPIROGYRA ( ALGAE ) filaments break into small fragments

The process of getting back the full organism from its body parts is called REGENARATION

Patomy and Architomy are TWO fragmentation methods.
Epimosphosis, Marphallaxis and compensatory are THREE main REGENARATION methods.

Fragmentation occurs in sponge, algae, flatworms etc.
REGENARATION occurs in sea stars, mammalians etc.
