Relief and topography both gives us the knowledge of the elevation and the type of land forms of a place but topography also tells us about the surface shape and the distribution of land forms in a region.

Topography is the study of shape and features on the surface of the Earth. These features typically include natural formations such as mountains, rivers, lakes, and valleys, forests, glaciers etc. Manmade features such as roads, dams, and cities may also be included.

Relief basically means the terrain of the earth. It shows the difference in elevation of various physical geographical features in a given area, such as mountains, valleys, plains and plateaus all have different elevations.

Hope it helps
