A person cannot be judged by the awkward appearance as a book cannot be judged by its cover. Here in this story, the two boys looked shabby and untidy which made the driver disapprove them. However, the author's interest on them increased on finding them indulging in all sorts of odd jobs with a willingness. Their sincerity, devotion and dedication towards the work to meet the medical expenses of their sister were appreciable. Though the boys indulged into a variety of jobs to earn money, they did not want to spend the money on themselves. The qualities shown by the boys made the narrator to give the title The Two Gentlemen of Verona.
