Wealth is a measurement of something. A very tall man could be said to have a wealth of inches compared to a hobbit. People who are wealthy... are people who have a wealth of money. A great deal of money.
A resource, on the other hand, is usually a noun. It can be something tangible like Copper or Gold. It can an emotional resource, like a strong family-and-friends network. It can be an internal resource, like courage. But it's something you have, or can acquire. Or deplete.

1. Wealth is limited while resources are found abundantly.
2. Wealth have exchange value so it can be transferred while all resources cannot be exchange as they do not have marked value.
