The basic difference between a revolt, a movement, and a revolutio is that while a revolt and a revolution both involve a change in power, a movement is a more general term that may or may not result in political change.

A "Revolt" can be termed as a violent act or uprising which is similar to  a rebellion to express discontent towards an established authority or a government of a country.

Whereas a "movement" is not always a violent act, it can be a peaceful one as well as. It is often associated to a group of people who have gathered together to achieve a common goal or purpose, which can be social as well as political.

Lastly a "revolution" happens when the main act is intended to completely overthrow an established political system and is often characterized by a dramatic and sweeping change in power, institutions, and the social order. It usually involves a significant level of violence and social upheaval.
