in scalar quantity there is only magnitude not direction for example distance and speed
in vector quantity there is magnitude as well as direction. for example displacement and force.

Scalar : it has only magnitude. Vector: it has direction as well as magnitude the examples of the Scalar quantity is energy and mass and the examples of vector quantity is weight and acceleration.
