Articles are like the pages of book.For example, in a book,we say according to page 22 ,New Delhi is our capital etc.Same in constitution, there are provisions written in constitution and we say that according to article 14, equality before law.Many articles constitute parts eg.part one includes art.1,2,3.Schedule contains information which is not described in articles.
