Difference between sexual and asexual reproduction.

In sexual reproduction two partners involve to produce an offspring. There is a huge amount of variation in sexual reproduction. The offspring only resembles the parent slightly.

Whereas in asexual reproduction there is no need for 2 partners .
There is no great variations and the offspring resembles the parent.

Asexual reproduction - (1)only one parents participate .
(2) reproductive cell or gamets are not produced.
(3) Fusion of gametes doesn't take place.
(4) Zygote is not produced.
(5) The young ones are identical copies of their parents.

Sexual reproduction
(1) 2 parents one male one female participate .
(2) Male produces sperms ( male gamete) and female produce eggs ( female gamete) .
(3) Male and female gametes fuse this process is called fertilization.
(4) Zygote is produce as a result of fertilization.
(5) The young one are similar but are not exact copy of their parents
