The gamete (reproducing cells) formation occurs in sexual reproduction. There is no gamete formation occurs in asexual reproduction. Offspring that is produced in sexual reproductionpossess new characters other than parents. Offspring that is produced inasexual reproduction is identical to the parent.

in sexual reproduction there is the involvement of two gametes I.e.male gamete and female gamete it gives genetic variation

in asexual reproduction there only involvement of one gamete it does Not show genetic variation
