✨Heya!!!!✌

✍Your answer⬇⬇⬇⬇

⭐Sigma-bond⤵

➡The bond is formed by the overlapping of orbitals along their axes(end to end overlap). It includes s-s,s-p, and p-p overlapping).

➡It is a strong bond.

➡Electron cloud is symmetrically about the line joining the two nuclei.

➡There can be free rotation of atoms around this bond.

➡These are less reactive.

➡The shape of the molecule is determined by these bonds.

➡Sigma-electrons are referred as localized.

➡Sigma-bond can have an independent existence.

⭐π-bond⤵

➡The bond is formed by sidewise overlapping of orbitals(lateral overlapping). It includes p-p overlapping.

➡It is a weak bond.

➡Electron cloud is unsymmetrical.

➡Free rotation is not possible around this bond.

➡These are more reactive.

➡These bonds donot affect the shape of the molecule.

➡π-electrons are referred as mobile electrons.

➡π-bond always exists along with a sigma-bond.

Hope it helps☑
