Difference between slaked lime and limewater.

Slaked lime is chemically calcium hydroxide, and its chemical formula is Ca(OH)2. It is white coloured solid which is obtained when water is added to calcium oxide (CaO). Lime water on the other hand is a saturated solution of slaked lime in water.
