1) Soap is solid bar and detergent is powder type solid

2) soap is use for bathing and washing clathes and utensils whereas detergent is use to wash cloaths

3) we cant use soap in washing machine but we can use detergent in washing machine

4) soap is expensive whereas detergent is cheaper

5) soap eg.. LUX , LIFEBOY ,DETOL ,SURF EXEL ,ETC....

Detergent eg... WHEEL , NIRMA ,RIN ,ETC...
