A soth-west is a direction which is halfway between south and west . A south-west wind is blows from southwest direction and it's originate from the direction of poles.
●North-east trade winds●
A north-east winds blows predominately from the northeast in the Northern hemisphere , these subtropical hight pressure belts towards the Equator is deflected towards the west in the both hemisphere by the coriolis effect.
