x² +7x +5 √2 = 0

⇒ √2 x² + 5x + 2x + 5√2 = 0

⇒ √2x²  + 5x + √2*√2*x + 5√2=0

⇒ x(√2x + 5) + √2(√2x + 5) =0

⇒ (x+√2)(√2x+5) = 0

That gives x= - √2 or  x= -
