Squamous epithelium :

Example cells of the outer layer of the skin. These cells are usually protective.They are composed of thin, flattened and polygonal cells

Cuboidal epithelium :

They are composed of cube like cells. Example inner wall of the kidney tubules. These cells are usually concerned with absorption.

Columnar epithelium:they are composed of vertically arranged, tall, cylindrical or column like cells. Example inner lining of stomach and intestine. These cells are usually secretory.
