SSB - Single Side band Amplitude Modulation
In this, only one of the side bands(USB/LSB) are transmitted without the carrier, after modulating the signal,. The bandwidth is same as that of message signal. Also the power wastage is very less

DSB - Double Side band Amplitude Modulation
Whereas here, both the side bands are transmitted without the carrier, after modulating the signal. The bandwidth is twice that of message signal and power transmitted is more than that in SSB.

SSB is better than DSB.

Explanation:

Sublimation is the conversion between the solid and the gaseous phases of matter, with no intermediate liquid stage. ... The opposite of sublimation is "deposition", where water vapor changes directly into ice—such a snowflakes and frost.
