Millenium Development goals (MDG) is a predecessor of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). - The outdated MDGs was launched in 2000 with 8 goals while SDG took effect in 2015 with 17 goals which were delineated and redefined to a certain extent from the MDG goals.
