Technology is a new method of manufacturing a product, practical implementation of an innovation.  A technology has a cost of implementation, benefit of use, at has a quality of service, and a scientific principle associated with it.

Engineering is the total process of conceptualization, analysis of requirements, design, implementation, verification, validation, installation and maintenance at the installation site of a product.

Often manufacturers are the customers of technology, who buy it and then use it to make products.

Engineering is a process to make cars.   Old technology is to make petrol driven cars.  New technologies are Electric cars and Solar powered cars.
The processes that happen in the car factory every day is engineering, from which cars come out.
