let X-intercept be 'a' & Y-intercept be 'b'.
so , given a=2b.
⇒X/a+Y/b=1 [intercept equation]
⇒X/2b+Y/b=1
since the line passes through (2,1).
b=2
a=4
∴the equation is , X+2Y=4

dakshdudhat: thanx ,but is there any other method
dakshdudhat: i am also a bit of confused with this intercept theorem becz when i google it the result was different
sony10: ur ans is wrng
