Ovaries are the female sex organs. They produce ovum cell also called the egg cell. The size of the ovaries differs from organism to organism.

Testes are the male reproductive organs. They produce thr sperm cells.

Both the cells fuse together to produce a zygote which develops into a new organism of the same species.
