The lifestyle of people living in plains, mountains and plateaus are different because all these regions vary in their climate, topography, density and various geographical conditions. For instance, the soil of plains is fertile, which leads to the extensive practice of agriculture. The mountains on the other hand do not support extensive agriculture, so the people are majorly engaged in hunting or rearing of animals. The plateaus support mining, with many coal reserves.
