Difference between the position of women in later vedic period and early vedic period ?

In early Vedic period women were given right to choose their husband whereas in later Vedic period this right was not given to the women.
In early Vedic period women attend the royal ceremonies whereas in later Vedic period they have no right to attend these ceremonies.
