Single plate clutch is commonly used in cars and light vehicles. ... Friction lines are provided on both side of the clutch plate. One side of the clutch plate is in touch with fly wheel and other side with pressure plate.Due to friction on both sides, the clutch plate revolves with engine flywheel.
