The primary physical difference is that thermoplastics can be remelted back into a liquid, whereas thermoset plastics always remain in a permanent solid state. Think of thermoplastics as butter – butter can be melted and cooled multiple times to form various shapes.

In Thermoplastic the process of softning by heating and harding on cooling can be e prepared again and again to soft in the plastic to get different shapes

In Thermosetting plastic can be soft in by heating only once once they are put into mould and allowed to harding or cooling, they cannot be soft and again on heating.
