Opaque materials through which light cannot pass at all .The colour of this material depends on the light it absorbs.An object on the other side of this material is not visible at all.
Transparent material are those through which light can pass completely.the colour of this material depends on the light it emits.object on the other side of this material is clearly visible.
translucent materials are those materials through which light can pass partially.
