Answer:

TRUE ALKALOIDS::

-------------------------------

 first of all let’s start with  True alkaloids,So those alkaloids that produced by amino acids are knows as true alkaloids nicotine,morphine,atropine are main example of true alkaloids.You can also say that those alkaloids that have nitrogen in their heterocycle are true alkaloids.On other part they can also contain some fragments! like trepene and evonine.There are some alkaloids that are not produced by the amino acids but are true alkaliods like piperidine alkaloids.

PSEUDO ALKALOID’S:

-----------------------------------

Now let’s talk about the pseudo alkaloids ,those alkaloids that are not produced from amino acids but some of them are producedfrom those amino acids that belongs to special group only! like cathinone

and ephedrine.This is because of they dont have their own nitrogen aton they acquire nitrogen atom from other through transamination process and complete their hetero cycle . The example of pseudo alkaloids is caffeine and thiobromine.

THE MAIN DIFFERENCE’S:

__________________________

So that was the difference between true and pseudo alkaloids ,the main difference is of nitrogen atom .The true alkaloid contains naturally while pseudo acquire it through transamination process.Infact there are more to more type of alkaloids are there but these two are simple with nitrogen atom difference in thier heterocycle.One acquire atom through transition to complete heterocycle ,the true one’s already have naturally nitrogen atom present because they are produced by the amino acids.
