difference between true solution and colloid solution

Colloidal solution is a heterogeneous mixture in which particles size of substance is intermediate of true solution and suspension I.e. between 1-1000nm....Just like true solution,colloidal solution are small enough and cannot be seen through naked eyes. They easily pass through filter paper.
