There are three types of Solutions based on their particle size:

1) True Solution

2) Colloidal Solution

3) Suspension

So, Let me determine the differences among these three solutions.

True Solution:

1) The size of the particle is less than 10 Angstorm.

2) It is a Homogeneous mixtures.

3) It does not show Tyndall Effect as the smaller particles

4) It does not scatters the light.

5) It diffuses rapidly.

6) It is Transparent.

7) It cannot be viewed even under ultra microscope.

8) Salt mixed with water is an illustration.

Colloidal Solution:

1) The particle size is from 10 Angstorm to 2000 Angstorm.

2) It is a Heterogeneous mixture.

3) It undergoes Tyndall effect.

4) It scatters the light.

5) It diffuses slowly.

6) It is Translucent.

7) It can be viewed only under ultramicroscope

8) Protein dissolved solution is an illustration

Suspension:

1) The particle size is more than 2000 Angstorm.

2) It is a Heterogeneous mixture.

3) It does not undergoes Tyndall effect due to large particle size.

4) It does not scatters the light.

5) Diffusion in Suspension does not occurs.

6) It is opaque.

7) It can be viewed through our naked eye.

8) Chalk powder in water is an illustration.
