There are three types of muscles:-

1. Striated muscles

  • These muscles get tired and need rest.
  • Unbranched.
  • These muscles are also known as voluntary muscles.

2. Unstriated muscles

  • These muscles are not under our control.
  • These muscles are also known as Involuntary muscles.
  • Spindle shaped and unbranched.

3. Cardiac Muscles

  • These muscles are found in walls of heart.
  • Contraction and relaxation is carried throughout the life by the help of this muscle.
  • Multinucleated and branched.
