There are three types of muscles:-
1. Striated muscles
- These muscles get tired and need rest.
- Unbranched.
- These muscles are also known as voluntary muscles.
2. Unstriated muscles
- These muscles are not under our control.
- These muscles are also known as Involuntary muscles.
- Spindle shaped and unbranched.
3. Cardiac Muscles
- These muscles are found in walls of heart.
- Contraction and relaxation is carried throughout the life by the help of this muscle.
- Multinucleated and branched.
