Explanation:

If the 'male and female reproductive system' are present in separate flowers, then this type of flower is known as unisexual flowers.

  • 'Stamen' is the 'male' reproductive part and 'pistil' is the 'female' reproductive part.
  • It is known as an incomplete flower.
  • When androecium and gynoecium become absent, it is a unisexual flower. Like, Cucurbita maxima.

When both the 'male and female reproductive system' is present in the same flower, it is called a bisexual flower.

  • 'Anther and ovary' is a part of a bisexual flower.
  • It is known as a complete flower.
  • When both androecium and gynoecium are present in a flower, it is called bisexual flower. Like,china-rose.
