Difference between vas deferens and vasa efferentia

Vasa efferentia are the tubes which are connected to rete testis, they transfer sperms to epididymis where maturation of sperms takes place. Now matured sperms are carried by Vasa deferentia to the ejaculatory duct.

Vas deferens also known as ducts deferens is a tube like structure made up of smooth tissues is a part of male reproductive part. Its function is to transport or conveys sperms from the testicles to the ejaculatory duct called urethra.

On the other hand, vasa efferentia is a most convoluted tubules that leads from rete testis to the vas deferens and build the head of the epididymus.
