volt.
>> Volt is the SI unit of electric potential.
>> its symbol is V.
>> 1 volt = 1 amp times resistance of 1 ohm, or 1V=1A·1Ω
>> Formula : V = IR. 
in which V is volt,
l {L} = length,
and R = resistance.

Watt.
>> Watt is the SI unit of power.
>> it's symbol is W. 
>> 1 watt is equal to 1 joule per second or 1W= J/s.
>> Formula : Power = Energy / Time or P = w/t.
in which watt is the unit of power, thats why we taken P.
energy is in joule, and time is in seconds.
